01Introduction & scope
Vecto.video (“Vecto.video”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates a long-form animation engine that turns scripts and ideas into full-length animated videos and short-form reels. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
This policy applies to our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It applies to visitors, registered account holders, subscribers, and participants in our affiliate program. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Because our users are located in many countries, this policy is designed to address obligations under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), and applicable data protection law in the United Arab Emirates, where we are based.
02Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the Service, and information from third parties that help us operate.
Account information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, password credentials (stored only in hashed form), and — if you sign in with Google — the basic profile information Google shares with us (name, email, and account identifier).
Payment information
Subscription and billing payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We retain only limited billing metadata returned to us, such as the card brand, the last four digits, expiration month/year, billing country, and subscription status, so we can display and manage your plan.
Content you create and upload
We store the scripts, prompts, project settings, generated videos, and exported reels associated with your account. Where you use features that accept uploads — such as custom voiceover, uploaded videos for the Reels/Clips Generator, or reference material — we store those files to provide the Service.
Voice samples
If you use voice cloning, we collect and process the voice recordings or samples you submit in order to generate a synthetic voice. Voice data may be considered sensitive or biometric information in some jurisdictions and is described in more detail in the Voice cloning data section below.
Usage and device data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, features used, render activity, referral source, and diagnostic logs.
03How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
- Create and manage your account and authenticate sign-in;
- Process subscriptions, trials, top-ups, and affiliate payouts, and send billing-related messages;
- Generate, render, store, and deliver the videos, reels, and voices you create;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Monitor usage, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Improve and develop the Service, including troubleshooting and analytics;
- Send you service updates, and — where permitted — product news you can opt out of; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Where required by law, we rely on one or more legal bases to process your information: performance of our contract with you, your consent (for example, for voice cloning and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
04Third-party services we use
We rely on a limited set of trusted service providers to run the Service. These providers process information only on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We describe them by category rather than naming every vendor, and the specific providers may change over time:
- Payment processing — to handle card payments, subscriptions, invoices, and affiliate payouts securely.
- AI, rendering, and media processing — to generate scripts, synthesize voices, and render and encode video and audio.
- Cloud hosting and storage — to host the Service and store your projects and files.
- Authentication — such as Google Sign-In, when you choose to use it.
- Analytics and error monitoring — to understand usage and diagnose problems.
- Communications — to send transactional and support email.
Each provider maintains its own privacy practices governing how it handles data on our behalf. We share only the information necessary for each provider to perform its function.
06Data retention and deletion
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service. After that, we retain information only where necessary to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods vary by data type. Billing and transaction records are typically retained for the period required by applicable tax law. Project content and uploaded files are retained while your account exists and are removed following account deletion, subject to backup rotation. Voice samples are governed by the shorter, consent-based approach described in the Voice cloning data section.
You may delete individual projects and files at any time, or request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at support@animora.site. Residual copies may persist briefly in secure backups before they are overwritten.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access — obtain confirmation of, and a copy of, the personal data we hold about you;
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”);
- Portability — receive certain data in a portable, machine-readable format;
- Restriction and objection — restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (such as voice cloning); and
- Non-discrimination — exercise your rights without receiving discriminatory treatment.
EU/UK (GDPR): you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. You may exercise these rights, including through an authorized agent.
To exercise any right, contact us at support@animora.site. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
08Voice cloning data
Voice cloning lets you generate a synthetic voice from voice samples. Because voice data can be sensitive and, in some jurisdictions, treated as biometric information, we apply additional protections.
Consent
We process voice samples only with your explicit consent, which you provide when you choose to create a cloned voice. By submitting a voice sample, you confirm that you are the speaker or that you have the documented right and permission to clone that voice, as required by our Terms of Service. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Use and storage
Voice samples and the derived voice model are used solely to generate audio you request within your account. We do not use your voice samples to train general-purpose models for other users, and we do not sell voice data. Voice data is stored with access controls and encryption in transit and at rest.
Deletion
You can delete a cloned voice and its underlying samples from your account at any time, or request deletion by emailing support@animora.site. When you delete a voice or close your account, we remove the associated voice samples and model, subject to short-term backup rotation.
09Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18, and in no case from a child under the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction (for example, under 13 in the United States).
If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@animora.site and we will take steps to delete it.
10Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, hashed credentials, and tokenized payment handling through our payment provider so that we never store full card numbers.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
11International data transfers
We operate globally and use service providers located in different countries. As a result, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, including countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where we transfer personal data internationally — for example, out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, and take steps to ensure your information remains protected consistent with this policy.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide additional notice such as an in-product message or email.
Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
